Okay, let's play a little game. I like games you know. -Spasmatic laughter- Sorry, just thinking. So life's been going pretty good, right? Well, for me it has. Other than the whole, "Holy shit I'm a failure and have been reduced to the masses". That was concerning my grades, just fyi. But really, other than that life has been pretty spiffy and awesome. Someone, -coughMEcough- developed a social life while her parents were MIA, and I have to tell you, it's nice. Well, so there is a point to this post. It's kind of a huge point. So...

Okay, now, who wants to know why my life is soon to end? Tragically, I might add. No guesses? BAND. And not band, band. FRICKING ALL-STATE AND SOLO CONTEST BAND. Yup, so that's going to be a failure and I will let my parents down and they will eat me. As is customary in my family.

Mr. Carlson was telling cannibal jokes today, that's where I got the eating from. Except that it really does happen like that.

Wow, my first day back sucked. I hate my classes. Well, the classes are all the same, it's the people that I hate. There are three Maddys (or some spelling variation) in my AP World History class. I hate it, I miss my old class with Jessie and Tracy and one Maddy. (Though Laney was there too, but her name doesn't affect me the way the others do) This semester is going to fricking suck. Study isn't the same anymore, and I forsee no oreo eating contests in the future. :[

KIDS IN GLASS HOUSES

Kids in Glass Houses are a five-piece rock band from the surrounding valleys of Cardiff, the capital of Wales. The band's name is inspired by a lyric in Glassjaw song 'Tip Your Bartender'. The line is "not throwing stones at you anymore". Their most current album is "Smart Casual". I love them so much. Words cannot describe this album. Too bad they're not from the US, otherwise I'd probably get a chance to see them. This entire album is so fricking amazing. I could listen to it for days. And frequently do.

I had the most amazing dream last night. Well, why the sad face, then? you ask. Cause it can't ever happen. Because it won't ever happen. I thought I should post it here just because when I look back on this, I will remember exactly what it was. Power Rangers, Hockey, car washes, floating, a rather unfortunate house party, and people. It sounds like a crack addict's hallucinations, but it was amazing. So now I'm listening to Metro Station to cheer me up. And they always do, I love them so much more than I can express. They make me squee. I feel like dancing around in my room.

Which brings me to the subject of dancing. Hace recuerdo de formal. Or something like. Formal. I am not going. I am not sad about this at all, I'm sure it'll be awesome for the people who are going. We had a dance on Thanksgiving, and I have never been more miserable or felt more awkward in my life. I swear to God. So, I'm still going to Mel's after, but I don't need to spend 3 hours wishing I could run away from a dance!

SURVIVOR WAS SO FRICKING AMAZING! I don't know if I've ever been so happy about an episode! Even with Jason and Penner! Matty is basically a beast, and he also eats people's faces. So there.

I have not been here in forever! Mostly cause my life is pathetic and I have a ton of homework.

-Band. NYC! I kid you not. 8 days. DRAG TRIPLETS. But also morning practice, sucky chair placement, and a concert. Yay... NOT!
-School. I hate it. Well, no, I hate my classes. Or maybe just teachers. I want summer to be here now, damn it!
-Lake. We are going there tomorrow after band, and I am so excited. Except that we're turning the water off. Not so exciting. Very sad, actually. But... Lake! -nudge nudge, wink wink-
-Um......... IT'S ALMOST THANKSGIVING WHICH MEANS ALMOST CHRISTMAS WHICH MEANS ALMOST ST. PATRICK'S DAY WHICH MEANS ALMOST SUMMER! [Strech your brains. It works]
-It snowed. I HATE snow. Except when it's a mountain and you can climb it. And chuck it at some certain person. [Like a brother]
-MUSIC. Omh, it's awesome to have an album with your same name. It's even more awesome when that album KICKS ASS!
-TV. Survivor is in full swing! I thought it was going to be a bit dull this season, on account of the lack of Jason [swoon], but no! Matty has come to take his place! I am not being biased here, I know he also shares my name... But HONESTLY! Haha, I'll include a picture for all you non-watchers. SUPERNATURAL! CASTIEL! OMFG. I LOVE Castiel. Perhaps even more than Dean. But that's cause Reks already claimed him, and I now have dibs on Castiel. But seriously people, he is one fine angel of God! [Sadly, there are no good pictures of him, so you'll have to tune in and see his face!] The OFFICE! It's kinda on the backburner for now, but never fear, I'll eventually get caught up.
-Internet. Worth1000.com is pretty much the greatest thing ever. No lie. Um... That's where the orange peel frog came from. So that right there is proof.

Well, that's all for now... I'm tired and need to sleep. NO EARLY BAND TOMORROW! I CAN SLEEP IN!
